The test pair has shown selected alerts, media controls, transferred health data and repeating wrist alarms. Each result has a specific scope; the project has not established general compatibility or release readiness.
Devices, builds and evidence
This report covers one Honor phone and Apple Watch Series 11, with the existing iPhone pairing preserved and Always On off. The latest installed development baselines recorded on 2 November are Honor 0.17.2/code108 and watch 0.19.33/build95. The previous 1 November baseline was Honor 0.16.25/code105 and watch 0.19.31/build93. Observations below span earlier builds too; a newer installation does not reverify every feature.
Physical observations, user confirmations, software tests and implemented changes are recorded separately. This is a project development report, not an independent review.
What was observed
| Selected alerts · earlier tests | A tracked Gmail alert reached the wrist. Inbox previews and saved receipts were physically checked. Exact presentation latency and all-day delivery were not established. |
|---|---|
| Source icons · 1 November | With backup off, a Messenger-labelled synthetic alert showed its logo in the physical watch list and expanded alert. This was not a real Messenger message test. The system short-look identity remains Wristvia. |
| Media · 29 October–1 November | Earlier tests confirmed controls, song changes, crown volume and source-app buttons. On 1 November a real track and working Stop were reported, then an image and controls were reported working. Exact Bluetooth versus relay route, current pause/resume and disconnect recovery remain separate checks. |
| Health · 29 October–2 November | Recorded runs stored watch records and wrote supported types to Health Connect; Tomas confirmed Google Fit displayed synced data after read access was granted. Later records show three sleep nights on the phone. On 2 November one real record arrived through the dedicated Bluetooth receiver and was written to Health Connect. Backup remained enabled; this was not an airplane-mode or full-backlog test. Reboot recovery, deletion propagation and broader apps/types remain open. |
| Find phone · 29 October | An audible Honor ring was confirmed after an audio-route fix. Stop, locked-phone and disconnect behavior need separate checks. |
| Alarm · 1–2 November | Repeating wrist alerts and an arm reminder were observed. The reminder time and Lithuanian Stop selector were corrected; Tomas confirmed the revised flow works. Final phone dismissal without creating a snooze still needs a clean test. |
| Internet Backup · 1 November | A false off/failure state was reproduced and fixed. The phone retained On through Home refreshes; the physical watch showed recent authenticated service contact. Apart-device alert presentation remains untested. |
What these results do not establish
The earlier unplugged overnight notification gap remains part of the record. Later health background activity does not prove notification delivery during long idle. Background notification reliability, timing, sound, haptics, duplicate suppression and battery need their own repeated runs.
Fresh store-installed Bluetooth-first onboarding without a Mac, production Apple push delivery, other phones/watches and current physical watch Back/close behavior remain unqualified. Ordinary notification replies have visible controls but no verified send result. Local store-review screenshots and recordings include emulator/simulator fixtures and are not hardware evidence.
Earlier 29 October snapshot
The previous version of this report described Honor 0.7.10 and watch 0.8.2, a Gmail wrist alert, a synthetic Facebook icon and partially observed removal after phone dismissal. Removal acknowledgement, locked-phone previews and offline repeat behavior were still unresolved. Those observations remain historical; the newer baseline does not retrospectively complete them.
Next useful device checks
- Qualify a fresh user’s complete setup and nearby notification under ordinary screen-off conditions.
- Repeat unplugged, idle, overnight and apart-device notification tests with actual presentation recorded.
- Verify media pause/resume, exact route, privacy and disconnect recovery.
- Run an exact-time Armed alarm, then verify watch Stop leaves no phone snooze.
- Verify health deletion, reboot recovery and battery behavior before general release.
